Basic Manual: DISH POS Lite App
Logging in/logging out:
To log in to the POS, enter your login code and tap [Login]. When logging in for the first time during the day, after starting the POS, you must select a shift for each login code. Check the circle next to the shift (or tap the text part of the shift) and then tap [OK].

Select a product for sale:
The menu can be divided into submenus. Scroll, swipe, or tap on the different groups to find the desired item. Then tap on the item. If you want to enter multiple units of the same item, first enter the quantity and then tap on the item. For an "open price item", a pop-up will appear where you can enter the price.

Pay off:
Select the desired payment method in the function key section of the screen (at the bottom left). If you first enter the amount to be received (for example, 50 €), the cash register will automatically display the change and shows a popup where you can choose if the extra amount is for tipping or change. In this way, a higher amount (for example, including tip) can also be paid by card.
Print invoice:
If you do not receive a printed invoice by default, you can print the invoice using the "print" button. In a separate window, you will now see a chronological overview of all invoices for today (the latest invoice is at the top). Now select your invoice and press [Print order]. First choose [Options] to select a “Bewirtungsbeleg” if needed.
Open a table:
To open a table, go to the facilities. You can find this in the top left of the hamburger menu (the three horizontal lines next to the DISH logo). In this overview, you will now see a grid with the different facilities and the tables you can use.
Close or pay off a table:
Select the correct district and table number by tapping on the tiles. You can now add the desired items. To close the table, tap on the total amount or choose a payment method if you want to check out immediately.
Correction in an open table:
After opening the table, you can correct an item as follows: Long press the price section of the desired item. The product line changes color and a compact menu appears. Tap the trash can button to remove the item. A pop-up will now appear asking you to provide the reason for cancellation. If there are multiple items on the same line, you will be asked how many items you want to remove.
Reports:
To generate an interim report of the daily revenue (for the full revenue, go to DISH POS back office), click the hamburger menu in the top left. Then tap [Print report] and select the report you want to print. The total daily revenue is displayed on the [Report on all services]. You can find more product details in the [Article report].
Log out:
To log out, go to the hamburger menu at the top left and tap on it. You will now find the log out button at the bottom.
