How do I create an individual ticket chain?
Table of Contents
In this tutorial we are going to show you how to create an individual ticket chain.
To accommodate the “Individual product serving” use case, we can create a new production ticket layout, known as an individual ticket chain or “Kettenbon”. This is a ticket where each individual product has its own ‘sub-ticket' with serving information and a cut between each of these sections. In this way, the production staff can tear off the ticket of a finished product and place them both on the passe for the waiter.
Step-by-step instructions
To enable the individual ticket chain feature in the DISH POS Back Office:
- Start by clicking on General in the Back Office.
- Then navigate to Production Stations.
- Select the relevant production station (e.g., "Bar Productie").

-
Set the Ticket Layout to Serving tickets.

Note: For best results, we recommend using printers that support middle cut, such as the TM-M30 or Durapos DP201. These printers cleanly cut between individual tickets. Using printers that only support a side cut may result in tickets that dangle and are harder to manage in fast-paced environments.
