In this article, we are going to show to adjust and personalize your webshop.
After a webshop has been set up by a consultant, you can personalize most of the settings. This tutorial explains how to do this in via the back office.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open your DISH POS Back Office and click on Sales channels in the section Self-service.
- Click on the edit button next to your webshop's name.
General section
In the General section you can:
- Edit the name of the webshop.
- Choose the facility.
- Change the default language.
- Allow order comments from customers.
When the Enterprise toggle for “Webshop / Order2POS” is enabled, the Delivery section will also become visible.
If this is not the case, please follow the correct process to have it activated.
Delivery section (only applicable in the Netherlands 🇳🇱)
Here you can configure all delivery-related settings:
-
Enable or disable delivery
It is possible to have both Pick-up and Delivery activated, or just one of the two. -
Delivery facility
Choose a separate facility to assign a different menu and/or pricing for delivery orders. -
Delivery radius
Defines the area around your restaurant where deliveries can be made.
The address used to calculate the delivery radius is taken from Company information. -
Delivery fee
Allows you to set an additional fee for delivery orders.
Note:
This is an Enterprise-enabled feature and may not be available in all countries due to fiskalisation requirements.
Currently, this feature is not supported on fiskaltrust and requires Efsta certification via LNE before it can be used.
The connector for Germany does not yet include the delivery fee functionality.
-
Turnover category for the delivery fee
Allows you to define how the delivery fee is categorised in turnover reports.
(Part of the same Enterprise feature as the delivery fee setting.) -
Minimum order amount
You can set a minimum value for delivery orders to avoid low-value deliveries.
This value appears in the kiosk as soon as a product is selected and disappears once the minimum amount is reached.
Discounts and promotions are included in the calculation, while recycle deposits are excluded.
-
Company information
Ensure that the company address is filled in correctly, as it is required for calculating the delivery radius.
The turnover category and minimum order amount settings are currently visible only for the Netherlands (NL).
After all settings are defined, save the changes.
Content section
In the Content section you can edit the welcome text and general information displayed in your webshop.
Appearance section
In the Appearance section you can:
- Choose the main colours of your webshop.
- Select the layout of the products (default product overview).
- Define how the products are presented.
- Upload your logo and specific images, such as the error image or menu header.
Legal information section
In the Legal information section you can:
- Add terms and conditions for your webshop.
- Add a privacy statement.
Company information section
In the Company information section you can:
- Edit the company name of the establishment.
- Update the address and contact information.
This information is also used for calculating the delivery radius when the Delivery feature is active.
Pick-up time slots
In Pick-up time slots, you can choose what days and hours your webshop is available.
This can be configured via standard hours.
You can also create a specific menu for your webshop.
The tutorial Menu planner (from step 14) shows how to do this and how to connect the menu to a sales channel such as your webshop.
Send your changes to the system
Since changes have been made, you must send them to your system by navigating to the general settings.
