In this article, we show you how to assign a PLU to a product.
Step-by-step-list
- Log in to DISH POS Backoffice.
- Select the Products section.
- Click on the Products submenu to view all products.
- Find the product you want to edit.
- Click the editing icon next to the product.
- In the product settings pop-up, select Product codes from the left menu.
- Enter the PLU in the Product code field.
- To add another PLU, click + Add product code.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- Go to the general settings and send the changes to the POS system.

- To search by product number, enable this in settings:
- Open menu → Settings → Input settings → Toggle on number search
- Tap the number pad icon to enter the product number
- Matching products will appear and can be added to the order
