In this article, we show you how to add multiple product codes in Backoffice

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Log in to the Back Office.
  2. Navigate to Products and select the product you want to edit.
  3. Open the Product codes tab in the left-hand menu.
  4. Enter your codes in the available fields:
    • You can add barcodes (EAN), PLU numbers, or other unique identifiers.
    • Click + Add product code to create additional fields as needed.
  5. Review the Product code alias section below the fields:
    • This shows where the code is already used to avoid duplicates.
    • Warnings will appear if a code is linked to other products.
  6. When finished, click Save to apply changes.
  7. Send provisioning to apply changes.

Notes:

  • There is no official maximum number of codes, but do not exceed 15 codes per product to maintain POS performance.
  • Codes must be unique across products to prevent conflicts during scanning.
  • These codes will be searchable and scannable in POS apps using barcode scanners or manual entry.
